Comcast Technology and Product Experience (TPX) is seeking an experienced iOS Developer to join the Connected Living Camera Client Engineering team. This group is responsible for customer-facing mobile application development for Comcast’s Home Security Camera product offerings. This includes the native iOS and Android Xfinity application, which primarily handles our cloud enabled Internet Gateway for millions of homes but is expanding to become Comcast’s primary mobile app with new features such as bill pay. Note: We are currently working remotely and will be following a flexible hybrid model in the future. This role is also open to fully remote or virtual US-based candidates.
In this role, you will be an iOS developer on the Camera Client Squad where you will collaborate with stakeholders to improve the customer experience with our Xfinity cameras. You’ll code UI features and libraries, participate in and help drive conversations on technical architecture, and influence the Xfinity iOS app architecture for millions of customers. You’ll also get to work with other passionate iOS developers as a peer, mentor, and mentee in our continuous learning culture. You are able to pick up new technologies quickly, be a strong teammate, and rapidly adapt to changing business and customer demands. The ideal candidate will have experience building native iOS applications with video players.
2+ years of professional software engineering experience
2+ years professional experience in developing Swift native client applications (iOS, macOS)
Experience building or consuming RESTful web services
Familiarity with MVVM and other architectural patterns
Fundamental understanding of the HTTP protocol and caching strategies
Experience working with an app that integrates with several internal mobile libraries
Eagerness for learning and adapting to new technologies - We use Combine and SwiftUI, but we do not require prior experience with these new technologies for this role. Some experience is a plus.
Good communication skills with a willingness to learn from more experienced developers
A strong sense of ownership and responsibility for code quality that follows best practices
Additional Preferred Skills
Experience in designing and interacting with REST/ RPC based API micro services
Experience with advanced network protocols such as WebRTC and MQTT
Experience working with OpenAPI Specifications
DevOps Native App build experience (Ansible, CocoaPods, Jenkins, Fastlane, XCUITests)

Relevant Work Experience
Pay Range: $84,817.54 - $127,226.31
Comcast intends to offer the selected candidate base pay within this range, dependent on job-related, non-discriminatory factors such as experience.
