Job Description

The Operations Manager will be responsible for the strategic planning, procurement, implementation, security, protocols, and management of Information Technology solutions developed by the Comcast Business CARE and the IT operational activities associated with them. The position requires a strategic and forward-thinking leader looking to the future and actively seeking advanced Data Analytics and Business Intelligence to minimize manual tasks and continue our focus to implement the right tools and solutions to provide operational excellence in the platform. The individual will help develop and implement strategies, standards, and performance metrics, works with Supervisors, Managers, and individual contributors to ensure all applications meet project specifications and requirements and provide leadership and direction for diverse and complex functions.

How You Will Grow:

  • The Operations Manager will help develop and implement strategies, standards, and performance metrics, expand on their experience working with Supervisors, Managers, and individual contributors.

  • You will build your leadership skills, business acumen and collaborate to ensure all applications meet project specifications and requirements and provide leadership and direction for diverse and complex functions.


  • Microsoft 365 Platform, including Azure, Exchange, SharePoint, OneDrive and Office.

  • Deep technical knowledge of network and server operating system.

  • Experience with support of Windows Operating Systems, SQL Server and Active Directory.

  • Demonstrable experience in IT infrastructure planning, development, and operations.

  • PowerShell scripting.

  • VMware, Azure and AWS Server Virtualization.

  • Enterprise Backup, Replication and Business Continuity and Disaster recover mitigation and response.

  • Solid grasp of project management principles and practices.

  • Solid understanding of Helpdesk and Customer Relations Support systems.

  • Data Security and Cyber Security basics.

Core Responsibilities

  • Supervise the daily operations to ensure the functionality, availability, and security of the platform

  • Lead the Platform Support team to expediently resolve user tickets and issues.

  • Participate in internal and external security audits; supervise and coordinate responses to audit requests.

  • Align IT infrastructure with current and future business requirements and strategic goals

  • Evaluate and assess strategic solutions that demonstrate new and emerging technologies that drive process automation and improve organization effectiveness and efficiencies.

  • Coordinates the planning and designing of software and web applications, including new programs, enhancements, and modifications.

  • Advises implementation initiatives for new software products and applications. Coordinates software update process for existing applications and coordinates the roll-out of software releases.

  • Manages all the deliverables to ensure consistency to deadlines, specifications, and budgets. Implements performance metrics and prepares period reports and/or proposals. Monitors and supervises project progress and reports findings to the leadership team.

  • Ensures all engineers keep current with technological developments within the industry. Monitors and evaluates competitive applications and products.

  • Provides leadership and direction to department personnel.

  • Leads cross-project communications.

  • Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.

  • Regular, consistent, and punctual attendance.
