Job Summary

Primarily responsible for forecasting, budgeting as well as variance analysis of Comcast Business Sales and Marketing headcount and operations expenses with some ad hoc revenue analysis. Participates in Comcast Business review of operations and processes.

Job Description

Core Responsibilities

  • Gathers analysis, tracks, and builds financial reports on personnel also non-personnel (e.g. local spending for event collateral and giveaways as well as creative advertisements) costs as well as some headcount planning.

  • Assists in month end reporting, one accrual, budgeting, forecasting (e.g. headcount, personnel, and non-personnel costs based on trends or knowledge from local marketing team), variance analyses, and related reports to compare month end vs. forecast vs. budget vs. prior month.

  • Meets with Sr. Leadership team to explain variances and discuss any changes in the forecast that were performed in current month.

  • Handles financial documents within Comcast Business Sales and Marketing mostly with some statements for Technical department also Product Support as well as a small piece of Administrative (e.g. franchise fees and building maintenance).

  • Some special projects such as overtime and personnel analysis.

  • Conducts financial research, analyzes financial performance against objectives and figures out emerging financial trends.

  • Maintains statistical/financial databases.

  • Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.

  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
