Role Description

The Territory Inside Sales Representative (TISR) is an essential sales partner in the USS territory based selling process. The TISR will be responsible for all sales activities within a defined geographical territory for tier "B" Customers, "B" Potential customers, and projects below $5 million. The TISR will also be a key player in Opportunity Team selling of projects that fall within the Opportunity Team guidelines.

Remote Position

This position works remotely from a home office. Potential candidates must live within a 5-hour radius of our HQ in Westborough, MA.

Essential Functions

  • Demonstrate strong safety awareness and leadership

  • Build and maintain the business within the territory using a variety of sales techniques.

  • Target potential customers and assess opportunities for sales.

  • Contact potential customers and create long term partnerships

  • Sell all product offerings available in the specific market

  • Conduct effective sales presentations on company's product line in response to the unique needs of each customer.

  • Take daily calls and manage to completion as well as manage emails effectively.

  • Industry knowledge: Ag, Industrial, Construction, Residential, Gov., commercial

  • Coordinate with various departments within the company to ensure customer requests are handled appropriately and in a timely fashion.

  • Act as liaison between customers, sales, field operations, and office personnel to resolve general inquiries & issues for "B" customers.

  • Heavy emphasis on targeted outbound calls.

  • Cold calling companies within the territory and establishing needs.

  • Compile a list of "B" target companies within the area.

  • Promote applicable "B" customers to "A's"

  • Be aware of competitor activities in the region and assess opportunities for business development.

  • Work to revenue targets and KPI's as set by Supervisor.

  • Follow-up on sales leads from other partners of the company.

  • Establish a quality relationship with Territory Managers and Director of Sales.

  • Develop sales strategies to target tier "B" accounts and "B" prospects.

  • Keep up to date with industry news to identify opportunities for new business.

  • Maintain a comprehensive knowledge of all USS products and services.

  • Produce quotes and orders through Salesforce.com

  • Document sales activities and leverage business intelligence through Salesforce.com

  • Know the key steps of projects and project management

  • Ability to navigate [Register to View] effectively and efficiently

  • Adding: Projects, Contacts, Accounts, other applicable data entry
