General Laborer (R-47062)
Waste Connections is looking for a General Laborer to work at our site in Bridge City, LA. In this position you will be working on the back of a garbage truck manually picking up garbage and dumping in the back of the truck. This is a very physical job working outside in all weather conditions.
5:00 a.m. start time working 5 days a week anywhere between 7-12 hour shifts. You will work every Saturday having Sunday and 1 other day off during the week.
Starting pay is $15 an hour . We also offer great benefits, dollar for dollar matching 401k, vacation, and year round overtime.
Job Requirements:
· Ability to lift 60 lbs repeatedly throughout a 10+ hour shift.
· Ability to work outside in all weather conditions.
· Strong customer service skills.
